Privacy Policy — Tab Declutterer (Close Dupes & Suspend Idle) Last updated: October 27, 2026 Tab Declutterer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. What the extension accesses, and why — all processed locally on your device: - Tabs and tab groups: tab titles and URLs are read on-device to detect duplicate tabs, measure idle time, and group tabs by domain when you click "Group". Nothing leaves your browser. - Storage: your settings (auto-suspend threshold, pinned/audio protection, domain whitelist) and lifetime counters (tabs suspended, duplicates closed) are stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. - Alarms: used to run the user-configurable auto-suspend sweep (default every 5 minutes) without keeping the popup open. No backend, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising. No data is sent to us or any third party. Permissions requested: tabs, tabGroups, storage, alarms. No host permissions. Contact: reply via the Chrome Web Store support listing for this item. If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
